Key Responsibilities: Partner with Financial Crime & Compliance teams to optimize operations and reduce compliance risk. Translate complex statistical findings into actionable business decisions. Lead development and refinement of compliance tools , including AML detection engines . Maintain production ML models and support audits through QA testing and performance analysis. Identify areas for operational improvement and manage projects from proof-of-concept to deployment . Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a quantitative field ; PhD is a plus . 8 years of data science experience, ideally in fintech , blockchain , or related sectors. Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL . Experience deploying and maintaining ML models using AWS tools . Comfortable handling both ad-hoc analyses and end-to-end product development. Strong understanding of onchain analytics and current research trends. Ability to read and apply findings from international technical literature .
