Partner with the best The Test Bench Leader is the focal contact for all operations related to erection, assembly, and testing of the assigned string test plant. This role involves driving safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery of all operations (mechanical, electrical) related to test bench preparation, erection, functional testing, and disassembly. The Test Bench Leader acts as the coordinator of mechanical and electrical external suppliers’ activities on the test bench. He / She is responsible for troubleshooting and prompt non-conformity resolution, maintaining connections with partner functions / departments such as product engineering, assembly, and packaging manufacturing cells. Additionally, the role involves promoting a Safety and Quality culture among the partners and suppliers working on the test bench. Key responsibilities include : Driving the string test operation (test bench erection, turbomachines and gas loop installation) according to production planning timelines. Supervising activities performed by external suppliers such as assembly, lifting, welding, mechanical / electrical work. Providing technical direction on non-conformities, maintaining connections with engineering and manufacturing teams. Drafting and archiving operation quality and safety reports and checklists as per Quality Installation Book. Ensuring project budget alignment with operational expenses and adjusting plans to minimize costs. Capturing and applying lessons learned during operations. Innovating and improving test bench activities. Maintaining high attention to HSE and QUALITY during assembly, testing, and disassembly phases. To be successful, you should : Have a degree in Mechanical, Energetic, Electrical, or Aeronautical Engineering, with relevant work experience. Possess excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills. Be capable of managing multiple projects with high intensity. Be an experienced problem solver with an analytical approach. Have good knowledge of Turbomachinery System architecture & commissioning operations. Be fluent in English and Italian, and eligible to work in the EU.
