Location : Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite, city center office) Type : Permanent Contract, full time Department : Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Languages : English (professional fluency required) About the Role As a Cloud Network Engineer , you'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining a secure, high-performance cloud platform. You'll work with technologies like OpenStack, Kubernetes, SDN, and automation tools to deliver resilient infrastructure solutions that support scalable cloud services across a global organization. This is a hands-on technical role suited for someone passionate about networking, automation, and cloud-native environments. Your Responsibilities Support the development of a cloud platform with a focus on networking (OpenStack Neutron, OVS/OVN, Arista, Calico). Manage the surrounding infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes, NGINX, BGP). Conduct in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Automate technical workflows and optimize infrastructure processes. Maintain professional documentation and ensure strong monitoring/logging for operations. Collaborate within a motivated, cross-functional team to drive continuous improvement. Your Profile Solid experience with Linux and Kubernetes , and a keen interest in staying up to date with the latest in both. Hands-on experience with SDN technologies like OVS/OVN and Calico. Excellent problem-solving skills and structured diagnostic approaches. Proficiency in programming/scripting: Golang, C/C++, Python, Bash .
