Health and Safety Officer/Specialist

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION: You will have a tertiary qualification in Safety Management, coupled with SAMTRAC certification (NEBOSH is highly advantageous), and 3-5 years experience in safety management within an engineering, manufacturing or fabrication industry You will have in-depth working knowledge of implementing safety programmes, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring OSH and ISO 45001 compliance. You will have experience in conducting training for new and existing staff, organising workshops for courses and develop specific safety communication materials for the various plants within the group. You will have effective problem solving skills, communicate at all levels in a efficient manner and be fluent in English and Afrikaans both written and verbal.
