Internal Sales Assistant (Projects/Mechanical Engineering)

Job Title : Internal Sales Assistant (Projects) Geographical area : Randburg, Gauteng Salary range : R 15 000.00 Basic Commission The successful incumbent will be responsible for: Sales of products and/or services that best satisfies customer needs in terms of project scope, quality, price and delivery deadlines. Assist with negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both the customer and company needs. Assist the Sales Engineers in hosting technical presentations and demonstrate how the company product / projects and process meets the customer needs. Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical colleagues to prepare detailed spares lists for all the existing prospected projects. Preparing costing models and mini procurement sheets for all the critical and non-critical spares for existing and prospected projects. Assist in preparing the PFDs and P&IDs of the projects where necessary. Minimum qualifications and experience: A recognised Engineering Qualification. A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage. Previous involvement with materials handling equipment, valves and instrumentations will be an added advantage. At least 1-2 years experience in similar position.
