This position offers the unique opportunity to not only operate cutting-edge machinery but also play a pivotal role in the ongoing research and development efforts to enhance drilling performance and efficiency. A bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic) will be advantageous Instrumentation qualifications with a specific focus on automation and robotics Strong technical acumen and ability to grasp complex engineering concepts. Experience in operating or maintaining heavy machinery, robotics, or similar technologies is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure. Willingness to undergo specialized training on the operation and maintenance of robotic drill rigs. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce comprehensive technical reports. Availability to travel to remote sites as required by project demands. Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility. Experience with trouble shooting on Siemens PLC systems & and must have some understanding of coding & programming The instrumentation runs with Siemens hardware, and the robot is Kawasaki; knowledge or experience in both will be an advantage.
