We enable Technology & Business Teams with the insights needed for their data-driven decision-making. We manage Global Data Analytics Platform to provide data solutions for the business needs. Core Responsibilities: The Senior Engineer II will be part of the Data Analytics team, designing real-time data pipelines using a modern tech stack including Snowflake connectors, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks from a variety of sources such as Databases, Kafka, APIs, AWS, and SFTP. The ideal candidate will analyze and integrate data across multiple systems and collaborate closely with the Data Engineering team to design and implement optimal end-to-end BI solutions using the full Azure data services ecosystem to meet evolving business needs. In addition, the candidate will drive strategic initiatives by ensuring robust data governance, security operations, and scalability within Snowflake and Azure environments. They will also partner with the Enterprise Data Quality team to build reusable automation frameworks, and will mentor junior team members while leading technology direction and innovation. This role requires strong collaboration across cross-functional technology teams to prioritize and drive the technology roadmap aligned with enterprise goals. Main contributor for product roadmaps and reliability strategy Partner with project management to deliver status and performance updates Conduct research to aid in product development and tools selection Provide an escalation point and participate in on-call support rotations Actively monitor key metrics, reports on trends, and make improvement recommendations Facilitate an Engineering Community of Practice for your product(s) Contribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systems Review product roadmaps and guide intake acceptance for a set of production systems Own reliability for a defined set of production systems Own the delivery lifecycle for a defined set of production systems Qualifications: 10-12 years of Data Engineering experience in building, deploying, scaling, and maintaining data pipelines. Strong Python development experience. Advanced SQL proficiency with deep expertise in Snowflake. Hands-on experience with Databricks, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and PySpark. Experience with real-time data processing frameworks such as Kafka Streams. Expertise in optimizing data pipelines for scalability, cost efficiency, and performance, ensuring minimal latency. Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing. Experience with any of cloud systems Azure, AWS or GCP. Working knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab) and version control (Git). Experience with unit testing frameworks and troubleshooting production systems. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Experience leading and mentoring global engineering teams, setting technical direction, and fostering collaboration. Proactive problem solver who embraces automation and efficiency improvements. Strong communication skills with a passion for knowledge sharing and learning. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teamwork. Takes initiative, embraces challenges, and drives meaningful results. A Day in the Life: As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing our data ecosystem, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Your daily responsibilities will include: Designing and developing scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and PySpark with a focus on efficiency and reusability. Creating and optimizing complex SQL queries to enhance performance and minimize resource consumption. Conducting code reviews and enforcing best practices for data modeling, DevOps pipelines, and cloud architecture. Implementing automation frameworks, deployment pipelines, and monitoring systems to ensure data reliability. Driving the Technology Roadmap through collaboration on strategy, key decisions, and technical direction. Mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. Collaborating with technical and business teams globally to deliver scalable data-driven solutions. Continuously improving efficiency, reducing costs, and automating repetitive tasks.
