PRINTER TECHNICIAN (KYOCERA) - PIETERMARITZBURG

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced PRINTER TECHNICIAN (KYOCERA) for a large growing concern, position based in Pietermaritzburg, Kwazulu-Natal. JOB DESCRIPTION Grade 12. IT certification or diploma (A, N, MCSE, or equivalent) is advantageous. Kyocera technical certifications / Training or certification in PaperCut or ScannerVision strong advantage! Valid Code 08 drivers license / own reliable vehicle. Competent computer literacy (MS Office, Email / Internet). 3yrs experience working as a Printer Technician. Strong knowledge of Managed Document Services (MDS). Solid understanding of networking, Windows Server, and Active Directory. Comfortable working with printer protocols (PCL, PostScript) and troubleshooting print queues. Install, maintain, and repair Kyocera printers, copiers, and multifunction devices on client sites. Configure and support document solutions, including PaperCut MF and ScannerVision. Integrate print and scan workflows with existing IT infrastructure. Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting and technical support. Work closely with clients to assess needs, recommend solutions, and deliver training. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Keep up to date with new Kyocera models, firmware updates, and solution offerings.
