Compliance Support Function: Global Business Services Level: G3 Supervisor Role Summary: McDonalds has set an ambition to become a Global Indirect Sourcing and Procurement leader. To make this happen, we are standing up a new Global Indirect Sourcing and Procurement Organization (IS&P). This organization will help McDonalds to better leverage our scale and unlock sustainable value for our company and communities. We are transforming our Indirect Sourcing and Procurement capabilities, processes, solutions, and ways of working to create One McDonalds Way of buying Indirect goods and services responsibly. Reporting to the Director of Procurement Compliance, this role will be responsible for assisting in the process that ensures all procurement activities adhere to internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. This includes developing, implementing, and monitoring procurement compliance programs to minimize risk and ensure ethical sourcing practices. Key responsibilities will include assisting in managing supplier compliance, ensuring that suppliers meet the organizations contractual and regulatory requirements. The role involves supporting training initiatives by helping to develop and distribute compliance materials, as well as offering guidance to procurement teams on compliance-related issues. Additionally, Compliance Support helps in the investigation of any discrepancies or issues related to compliance, collaborating with other teams like legal, finance, and procurement to resolve them promptly. By providing operational support, the Compliance Support role ensures that procurement activities remain compliant with internal standards and external regulations, helping to mitigate risks and maintain the integrity of the procurement process. Key Responsibilities: Assist in Creating and enforcing procurement compliance programs that align with legal and regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies to mitigate risks and ensure ethical procurement practices Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audits, and risk assessments Assist in defining compliance performance action plans and implement with necessary processes, stakeholders, and/or suppliers as needed Publish monthly updates on performance metrics (KPIs) regarding compliance with requirements Coordinate and support of Procurement and Quality auditing needs for acceptable closure of Internal and Supplier audit findings and to secure evidence that substantiates commitments Data/documentation requirements needed to meet the associated regulatory requirements and ensure data is in an auditable format Continuously monitor procurement processes, transactions, and supplier relationships to ensure they comply with established guidelines, laws, and regulations, including anti-corruption, anti-bribery, and sustainability requirements Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Minimum Associates degree required: 1-2 years of relevant experience with Sourcing & Procurement, Compliance etc. Good to Have Skills: Skills: Data Analysis, Data Visualization & Reporting, Attention to Detail, Project Management, Technical Aptitude. Exp in Audit is good to have.
