Position Summary: Sr Manager, Product Management As a Sr Manager, Product Management/Data Product Manager within McDonalds EDAA team, you will lead the development and delivery of high-impact data products that serve both central and market teams across the global business. You will work across use cases such as forecasting, workforce planning, financial reporting, and customer analytics. Ensuring our data products are accurate, usable, explainable, and trusted. This is a high-ownership role: you will define the product strategy, manage the roadmap, and lead cross-functional teams from ideation through to scaled adoption. You will partner with engineering, data science, and UI/UX teams , as well as business SMEs , to ensure our data products deliver measurable value , supporting planning and decision-making in a highly complex organization. Who were looking for: Primary Responsibilities: Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for one or more global data products in partnership with business stakeholders , working in a two-in-the-box model alongside your technical lead, who jointly owns the technical design and delivery. Translate ambiguous business needs into clearly defined product goals, measurable outcomes, and prioritized roadmaps. Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and ongoing product delivery within an agile, cross-functional team. Work with engineers, data scientists, and UI/UX designers to scope, refine, and deliver high-quality features -balancing speed, accuracy, and scalability. Champion user needs by engaging directly with central teams and market stakeholders to understand pain points, gather feedback, and test prototypes. Drive adoption and product success by collaborating on go-to-market strategies, change management plans, and end-user onboarding. Monitor product performance, usage metrics, and feedback to inform continual improvements and feature evolution. Act as the bridge between technical and non-technical teams - making complex concepts accessible and promoting a shared understanding of product value. Qualifications: Proven experience (8 years) in product managemen t, ideally in data, analytics , or platform-related roles. Strong technical fluency, able to grasp and communicate topics such as data modelling, pipelines, and AI/ML use cases (e.g. feature stores), even if not hands-on. Deep experience working with Agile methods , including backlog management, user story writing, and leading sprint rituals. Hands-on experience with JIRA and JIRA Product Discovery is essential. Outstanding communication skills with the ability to engage, align, and influence stakeholders from different regions and functions. Comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and owning end-to-end delivery in a global matrixed environment. Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Data Science, Engineering); Scrum certification or Agile qualifications highly advantageous.
