RTW Control Tower

Client: an important textile company, with presence in international markets, needs a: Position: Logistics Operations Specialist Location : Barcelona Functions: Implement transportation strategy and overview operations. Allocate transport companies to vendors / suppliers according to company’s transport strategy. Provide visibility of transport to all teams. Promote the use of existing Transport Management System with current partners and internal teams. Track late deliveries anomalies. Monitor Transportation KPIS (Cost / item, leadtime, On Time deliveries, etc…). Define all logistics procedures for RTW for suppliers, Transport companies and company services according to in-house logistic standards. Optimize transport and ensure quality of products. Ensure compliance of transport and security according to Company standards. Pilot New Transport Management System Project for RTW, from definition of the solution to full implementation, in relation with IT and Logistic team. Communicate internally with planners, material buyers, warehouse, quality team. Communicate externally with Manufacturers, suppliers, external warehouse, transport companies. Analyse incident reports and create action plan to reach objectives. Analyse issues and gaps between current process and tools and Company needs. Propose solutions and participation to implementation of the new processes or tools. Profile: 3 years of experience in Logistics, ideally consumer goods. Organized and able to adapt in a fast paced environment. Logistic academic background (engineer or master degree in logistics / supply chain). Spanish and English fluent, Italian is a plus. Good knowledge of Excell and logistics ERP.
