Data Engineer

Marosa is a leading FinTech company based in Vigo, specialising in tax technology. Our mission is to simplify global VAT compliance for multinational companies through powerful software solutions. We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing engineering team. If you enjoy working with data pipelines, transforming large datasets, and enabling data-driven decisions across products, we would like to hear from you. What You Will Do: Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes. Work with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver high-quality datasets. Optimise data workflows and support the integration of external data sources into our platform. Collaborate with backend and product teams to ensure data consistency and performance. Help define best practices for data architecture and tooling. What We Are Looking For: A minimum of 4 years of experience working in data engineering, preferably in SaaS or technology-driven environments. Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in designing and maintaining data pipelines. Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modelling, and relational databases. Ability to collaborate across teams and independently solve complex data problems. Bonus: Experience with Airflow, dbt, or cloud-based data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or AWS. Why Join Us?
