Workshop & Design Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end design using SolidWorks, technical project management, workshop planning, and quality control. Key Responsibilities Hands-on Design: Create detailed engineering drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks. Develop innovative solutions to meet client and project needs. Revise and optimize designs as needed, ensuring manufacturability. Workshop Management: Oversee daily workshop activities, production schedules, and staff. Coordinate workflow and ensure safe, efficient operations. Supervise installation and commissioning as required. Project & Technical Management: Oversee technical aspects and overall planning of multiple projects. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project success. Monitor project timelines, resources, and budgets. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality standards for all projects and workshop outputs. Conduct regular inspections and resolve any technical or quality issues promptly. Minimum Requirements B.Tech or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar). At least 5 years experience in a similar role in engineering or manufacturing. Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD software). Proven experience in technical design, drawing, and project management. Strong leadership and communication skills. Desirable Skills Experience with CNC machining and fabrication.
