Tax Manager Position Overview The Tax Manager will oversee and manage tax compliance and planning for a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and entities. This role is crucial in ensuring adherence to tax regulations while maximizing tax efficiencies for clients. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee tax compliance and planning for S-Corps, C-Corps, and partnerships. Review and prepare individual (1040), estate (706), and trust (1041) tax returns. Provide tax planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals and their families. Conduct tax research to address complex tax issues and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Supervise junior staff and provide training on tax preparation processes and compliance. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and provide insights on tax liabilities and opportunities. Ensure timely filing of all tax returns and adherence to deadlines. Assist in IRS audits and inquiries as needed. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact clients.
