Quality Assurance Engineer - Performance Testing

Job Title : Performance Testing Engineer (C# Selenium Playwright) Location : Remote Company : Spectral Consultants Experience Required : 7 to 13 years Notice Period : Immediate joiners preferred (up to 30 days max) About the Role- We are looking for a highly skilled Performance Testing Engineer who can design and build test automation frameworks from scratch. This role requires deep technical expertise in C#, Selenium, API testing, and Playwright, along with experience in performance testing and mentoring QA teams. Key Responsibilities : - Design and implement end-to-end performance testing strategies and automation frameworks. - Develop and execute both manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality. - Build test automation frameworks using Selenium with C#. - Conduct UI testing using Playwright or similar tools. - Perform API testing using tools such as Rest or equivalent. - Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution. - Perform regression testing and validate fixes and enhancements. - Collaborate with developers and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. - Maintain and manage test environments, test data, and execution reports. - Report clear and actionable test metrics. - Mentor and guide junior and mid-level QA engineers. - Participate in peer code reviews to ensure high-quality test code. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 5 years of hands-on experience in performance testing, including setting up frameworks from scratch. - Expert-level proficiency in C# and solid understanding of object-oriented programming. - Proven experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using Selenium with C#. - Strong experience with Playwright or other UI automation tools. - Skilled in API testing using tools like Rest, Postman, or similar. - Proficient in writing SQL queries for data validation. - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test integration tools. - Previous experience leading QA efforts or mentoring other team members.
