Job Description

Role : Oracle Functional Consultant. Location : PAN India. Role : Oracle Functional Consultant Location : PAN India Key Responsibilities : - Lead and provide expert functional support for the end-to-end Order Booking process within Oracle Cloud Order Management. - Analyze and optimize the flow of incoming orders originating from diverse sales channels, including CRM systems, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), manual entries, and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). - Design and configure Oracle Cloud Order Management to efficiently handle various order types, pricing rules, and fulfillment processes. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to order creation, processing, and fulfillment. - Possess a comprehensive understanding of the Project to Retire lifecycle within the context of Oracle Cloud. - Analyze and optimize the integration points between Order Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Financials, and other relevant Oracle Cloud modules throughout the project lifecycle. - Identify opportunities to streamline processes related to project initiation, resource allocation, project costing, revenue recognition, and asset retirement. - Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders across Sales Operations, IT, and other business units to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements related to order management and the project lifecycle. - Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and actionable functional specifications, user stories, and process flows for the technical/development teams. - Work closely with development teams to ensure a thorough understanding of the functional requirements and facilitate the development of effective solutions within Oracle Cloud. - Collaborate with QA teams in the development of test plans and test cases. - Actively participate in end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation processes to ensure the delivered solutions meet business needs and functional specifications. - Leverage Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to drive project execution, ensuring iterative development and timely delivery of solutions. - Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. - Contribute to backlog grooming and prioritization activities in collaboration with the Product Owner. - Act as a primary functional liaison between Sales Operations, IT, and other relevant business units to facilitate seamless order management processes and support system enhancements. - Effectively communicate project updates, potential risks, and proposed solutions to both business and technical stakeholders. - Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective collaboration. - Participate in the configuration of Oracle Cloud Order Management and related modules based on documented requirements. - Provide functional support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, assisting business users with testing and issue resolution. - Contribute to the development of training materials and participate in training sessions for end-users. - Assist in change management activities related to the implementation of new Oracle Cloud functionalities and process changes. Required Qualifications : - 8-10 years of progressive experience in Business Analysis or Functional Consulting roles, with a significant focus on Oracle applications. - Strong domain expertise in Oracle Cloud - Order Management is mandatory, with demonstrable hands-on experience in configuring and implementing Order Management functionalities. - In-depth understanding and practical experience with the Project to Retire lifecycle and its integration within Oracle Cloud. - Proven experience in analyzing and managing order flows originating from multiple input channels. - Experience working within Software/Services companies with a strong understanding of recurring revenue models and contract lifecycle management as they relate to order processing and project accounting. - Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including practical experience with sprint planning, writing effective user stories, and participating in backlog grooming sessions. - Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written - with the proven ability to effectively interact and communicate with both business users and technical development teams at various levels. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes, propose effective solutions, and drive issue resolution. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
