Job Title: Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) Pietermaritzburg Location: Pietermaritzburg Firm Type: National Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors Availability: Immediate Job Summary: Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to join their Pietermaritzburg office. This is a leadership role within a well-established national accounting and audit firm, where the successful candidate will be responsible for managing operations across the Audit, Accounting, and Tax departments. The role requires a dynamic individual who can drive quality control, staff development, business growth, and client satisfaction, while contributing to the firms strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Provide senior-level management across the Audit, Accounting, and Tax departments nationally Drive business development and contribute to the firms growth strategy Review, approve, and sign off on all financial reports Oversee and enforce quality control standards throughout the firm Supervise, mentor, and manage training and development of staff Monitor and manage branch revenue targets and performance metrics Lead and implement various projects across departments Act as, or be willing to act as, a SAICA Training Officer Maintain and grow an existing client portfolio (preferred) Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) Must be a Registered Auditor (Assurance) Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in an audit firm Behavioral Competencies: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work Excellent leadership and team management skills Effective communicator and collaborator Results-driven and capable of meeting tight deadlines Proactive and goal-oriented mindset Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
