Location: Benoni, Gauteng Salary: R15 000-R22 000 Positions Available: 1 Key Responsibilities Design of mechanical parts and equipment for industrial use 3D modeling of components, assemblies, and fabrication drawings (SolidWorks or similar) Creation of BOMs (Bill of Materials) Site visits to take measurements of civil works and equipment Drafting technical specifications and user manuals Communication with clients, contractors, and suppliers Sending out RFQs and reviewing quotations Performing quality control checks and assembling QCPs and data books Assisting in the fabrication and assembly of designed parts Hands-on work required during installation and testing phases Minimum Requirements Mechanical National Diploma / N6 / NQF6 Valid Drivers License (Code 08) Computer literate Excellent technical and spatial understanding Good written and verbal communication skills Experience 3D Mechanical Design Exposure to fabrication and/or manufacturing environments Working with mechanical components Skills and Attributes Creativity and practical problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and under pressure Willingness to travel and work on-site Attention to detail and quality assurance Design the future, one component at a time!
