Technical Consultant - Applications & Infrastructure

Now Hiring : Technical Consultant Applications & Infrastructure Specialist We're looking for a Technical Consultant who thrives at the intersection of applications and infrastructure. In this pivotal role, youll ensure smooth, secure, and high-performance operations across environments while acting as a key technical bridge between teams. What Youll Be Doing : - Lead architecture, design, and implementation of Middleware solutions including IBM MQ, ACE, Axway ST/CFT, Kafka, WebSphere, and WebLogic. - Build and consume RESTful APIs. - Work with messaging engines and formats like JSON, XML, and EDI. - Perform application and system software installations, upgrades, and optimization. - Troubleshoot and resolve Middleware/application incidents. - Manage corrective maintenance and failed deployments. - Support planned infrastructure and application activities. - Restore server components and recover files/logs. - Participate in new project implementations for application deployments. Core Responsibilities : - Gather and analyze functional and non-functional requirements. - Design scalable application architectures aligned with infrastructure capabilities. - Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization. - Drive change management, provide CAB summaries, and coordinate across teams. - Ensure security compliance, participate in audits, and mitigate Document procedures and deliver cross-functional knowledge transfer and training. Act as : - Technical Bridge between application and infrastructure teams. - Problem Solver for complex technical challenges. - Process Enforcer of standards and best practices. - Change Agent driving continuous improvement. - Risk Manager identifying and mitigating potential risks. What You Bring to the Table : - Bachelors degree in IT or Computer Science. - Experience with IBM MQ, ACE, Kafka, WebSphere/WebLogic, Axway ST/CFT. - Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud IaaS and Azure Cloud PaaS. - Deep understanding of servers, networking, middleware, databases, and cloud platforms. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Strong domain knowledge and ability to align tech with business needs.
