The Fast Way - Quality Assurance Engineer - Functional/Regression Testing

Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through meticulous testing, identifying defects, and working closely with the development team to deliver high-quality releases. Responsibilities : - Perform manual and automation testing of web and mobile applications. - Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases. - Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system. - Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools. - Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST-Assured. - Conduct performance testing to ensure application stability and scalability. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. - Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports. - Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and best practices. Required Skills: - 1 to 3 years of experience in software quality assurance. - Strong experience in manual and automation testing. - Proficiency with Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools. - Ability to write and execute test cases efficiently. - Experience in API testing. - Experience in performance testing. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills : - Experience with mobile application testing (iOS and/or Android). - Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Knowledge of database testing. - Experience with security testing (ref:hirist.tech)
