Technical Lead - SMARTCOMM

Responsibilities : - Provide technical leadership and guidance for the SMARTCOMM application development team. - Architect and design SMARTCOMM solutions based on business requirements and best practices. - Lead the development and implementation of customer communication templates and interactive documents using SMARTCOMM (Thunderhead) suite of products. - Utilize SMARTCOMM Modules - Data Modeler (Business Object Studio), Advanced Template Designer (Business Content Studio and Admin), and Web Editor extensively. - Possess a strong understanding of SMARTCOMM or Thunderhead concepts and development methodologies. - Demonstrate sound knowledge of SMARTCOMM (Thunderhead) Suits of Products including Review Now, Interview Now, and Dashboard. - Exhibit sound knowledge about Smart Communications Appliance Configuration and Deployment Models (Cloud/Hybrid). - Lead the development of interactive communications using Draft Editor and Data Capture functionalities. - Possess a strong understanding of Thunderhead/Smart Communication APIs for integration purposes. - Be proficient in the preparation of XML data schemas and their mapping to business data objects. - Lead the authoring of business templates as per the defined business requirements. - Oversee the consolidation of form templates, identifying common graphical elements, information blocks, layouts, variable data requirements, functional similarity, and multilingual considerations. - Lead the development and documentation of forms designs and form specifications, including form usage and derivation rules, data mapping, variable logic, templates, styles, and layout. - Be well-versed in the creation of Static Layouts for Print and Responsive Layouts for Web. - Possess technical knowledge in creating Simple and Scriptable Batch Configurations, Template Selectors, and Output Configurations for post-processing. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs. - Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization techniques within the SMARTCOMM environment. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to SMARTCOMM applications. - Mentor and guide junior developers within the team, providing technical expertise and support. - Participate in code reviews and ensure the quality of deliverables. - Contribute to the planning and estimation of technical tasks. - Stay up-to-date with the latest SMARTCOMM features, updates, and industry Skills : - SMARTCOMM (Thunderhead) - SmartCOMM Modules: - Data Modeler (Business Object Studio) - Advanced Template Designer (Business Content Studio and Admin) - Web Editor - SQL - XSD - Skills : - Experience with Thunderhead/Smart Communication APIs. - Knowledge of Smart Communications Appliance Configuration and Deployment Models (Cloud/Hybrid). - Experience in generating Interactive communications (Draft Editor, Data Capture). - Familiarity with Review Now, Interview Now, and Dashboard functionalities within SMARTCOMM. - Experience with scripting languages relevant to SMARTCOMM (e.g., Velocity). - Knowledge of integration patterns and technologies. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 6 years of experience as a technical lead for SMARTCOMM (Thunderhead) applications. - Proven experience in leading technical teams and delivering complex SMARTCOMM solutions. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Strong understanding of software development : - SMARTCOMM Architecture and Design - Template Development (Print and Web) - Data Modeling and Mapping - Interactive Communication Development - System Configuration and Deployment - API Integration - Technical Leadership - Team Mentoring - Requirements Analysis - Solution Design - Problem Solving - Communication (Written & Verbal) - Collaboration - Agile Methodologies (ref:hirist.tech)
