Senior Simulation Engineer

Your responsibilities Preparation of strength analyses (static, LCF, HCF, fatigue, overspeed, FBO, crack propagation) of aero engine components (Compressor, Combustion Chamber, Turbine – Static / Rotative Parts) using FEA (Ansys Workbench) and analytical methods Assessment of non-conformities related to aero engine components and their effects on the product Technical validation (authorization for approval) of Concessions related with visual, dimensional and process non-conformities of aero engines components Support Technical Leader in creation and deployment of technical and organizational processes, instructions, best practices, lessons learnt Day-to-day cooperation with internal and external stakeholders from design, technology, quality and manufacturing at various stages of implementation and serial production Technical support to other departments for process improvement Defining technical solutions (request for drawing change, Production Permit, process optimization) to eliminate non-conformities on products On-job technical support to other members of the Design Office Our requirements Language: English, B2 Master degree in engineering Teamwork, analytical thinking, self-motivation, ‘can-do’ attitude and decision-making skills Ability of technical drawing interpretation In-depth understanding of the Theory of Elasticity, Fatigue Strength and related challenges 7 years of professional experience as a mechanical engineer / stress engineer preferably in aerospace industry (senior position) 3-7 years of professional experience as a mechanical engineer / stress engineer preferably in aerospace industry (mid position) Strong technical skills Ansys or Patran or Abaqus or Hyperworks Experience Optional Catia V5 experience Solid Edge Experience Language: French Design and GD&T experience will be considered a plus Knowledge of design and operation of aircraft engines What we offer Unique chance to gain professional experience in aerospace industry Personal growth and development Very good working environment and conditions Wide social package (medical and life insurance, sports card etc.) Benefits sharing the costs of sports activities private medical care sharing the costs of foreign language classes sharing the costs of professional training & courses life insurance remote work opportunities flexible working time integration events coffee / tea extra social benefits holiday funds employee referral program Safran Aircraft Engines Poland spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością SAFRAN AIRCRAFT ENGINES POLAND based in Sędziszów Małopolski is a leading leader in the aviation industry market and one of the most dynamically developing companies from the Aviation Valley. The factory, which has been operating since 2017 and employs over 300 people, produces turbine blades for the LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines. In 2023, together with the French branch of Safran Aircraft Engines, a Research and Development Center was established in Rzeszów. Over 250 engineers will be employed here. In the newly established office, engineers will deal with various types of simulations relating to components of the entire aircraft engine.
