Data Scientist

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to lead innovative AI and BI initiatives that drive data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will apply advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to solve complex business challenges, develop predictive models, and generate actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: Data Modelling & Analysis: Develop and deploy machine learning and AI models to extract insights, predict trends, and optimize business processes. Conduct deep data exploration, preprocessing, and statistical validation. Data Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define data objectives, strategies, and performance metrics aligned with business goals. Feature Engineering: Build and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data readiness for modelling. Partner with data engineers to maintain data quality. Model Deployment & Optimization: Evaluate and fine-tune models, manage version control, and deploy solutions into production with minimal human intervention. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with analysts, engineers, and business units to solve domain-specific problems. Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Leadership & Mentoring: Guide junior team members, share knowledge, and foster a collaborative, innovative work culture. Compliance & Security: Ensure all data practices comply with privacy laws and internal security protocols. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field 3 years of experience in data science roles with hands-on ML and statistical analysis Proficiency in Python, R, or similar tools Strong data manipulation, visualization, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Relevant certifications are advantageous Additional Requirements: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Strong organizational and project management skills Team-oriented mindset with a drive for innovation
