Miller

The successful candidate will report to the Head Miller / Production Manager. Requirements: Achieve all the technical value drivers as set out by the company Grade 12 Trade Tested Miller, qualified as per GMF Work with systems Own transport Willingness to work shifts Minimum 5 years experience as a qualified Miller with extensive milling experience, milling mealies Fumigation and grading experience Overtime if when and necessary Experience on PLCs Management of a mill (quality, extractions, milling gain, housekeeping, admin etc.) Manage downtime Must be able to work with and manage people in a production environment Sample and test new materials from transfer, as per sampling procedures Ensure that conditioning is achieved Comply to the required milling divide and set / maintain the mill accordingly Communicate settings as per mandate for adjustments to the Head Miller / Operations Manager Ensure full traceability of all product through the milling process Ensure that deep cleaning is performed as per the schedule Ensure that all products are milled to specifications Ensure that the mix back stock is controlled using FIFO, infestation and quality Ensure that products are packed out accordingly to packing and flushed as per flushing requirements, and that quality and weight specifications are complied with
