Maintenance Supervisor

Resort in Shelly Beach is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position as Maintenance Supervisor. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and manage all maintenance staff at all times, ensuring effective team coordination and productivity. Assign and monitor daily tasks to each maintenance team member. Foster a positive and professional working relationship with the team, promoting open communication and leadership. Report directly to the General Manager, providing regular updates on maintenance activities, team performance and inventory. Plan and schedule maintenance improvements and preventative tasks in alignment with the approved budget. Ensure all maintenance work complies with current health and safety regulations. Oversee and enforce quality standards in all maintenance operations and repairs. Ensure timely and efficient completion of all assigned projects. Stay up to date on all relevant health and safety requirements and best practices. Maintain full awareness of the location and operation of all service junctions for utilities and service providers on the property. COMPETENCIES REQUIRED · Multi skilled in all aspects of maintenance, electrical, plumbing, painting and mechanics. · Hands-on working supervisor/team leade r · Stock-taking · Excellent written and communication skills · Drivers Licence · Fluent in English, Zulu & Afrikaans would be an advantage
