Lecturer: Nursing (1 post) Minimum Requirements: A relevant Masters Degree and registered for a Doctoral Degree A qualification in Nursing Education that is registered with the South African Nursing Council Professional registration with the South African Nursing Council At least 1 years experience in higher education or Qualification/courses in higher education teaching and learning Undergraduate teaching experience in Nursing Research publications or successful supervision or successful research grant funding. Added Advantages A relevant Doctoral degree A qualification in Nursing Management that is registered with the South African Nursing Council Qualification/courses in higher education teaching and learning Evidence of postgraduate teaching or supervision experience Evidence of accredited research publications Evidence of successful fundraising for research. Evidence of participation in networking and collaboration in research and/or teaching Evidence of community engagement integrated with teaching, learning or research Duties: Participate in research; curriculum design, development, and implementation Teach undergraduate (and postgraduate) modules Meet research publication requirements for academic rank of lecturer level Supervise students (Honours/Masters research) Secure research grants Participate in networking and collaborations in research and/or teaching Participate in mentorship programmes Participate in community engagement integrated with teaching or research Participate in administrative duties in the department Closing Date: 6 June 2025 To apply: Interested applicants who meet the criteria are invited to:
