Technical Sales Representative – Mossel Bay Industry: Hardware / Board / Woodworking Location: Mossel Bay (Local candidates preferred) Type: Full-time | On-site Language: Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English) We are looking for a mature, self-driven Technical Sales Representative with strong industry knowledge and solid customer engagement skills. The ideal candidate has a background in board, hardware, or woodworking products, understands technical sales cycles, and is comfortable working with a wide customer base from DIYers to trade professionals. Key Responsibilities: Manage and grow a portfolio of customers in the Mossel Bay area Provide technical advice on products, applications, and alternatives Generate quotes, process orders, and follow up on deliveries Meet sales targets and identify new opportunities in the market Stay up to date with product knowledge and customer needs Minimum Requirements: 5 years technical sales experience, ideally in: Board/woodworking materials Hardware/building supplies Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (spoken & written) Strong computer skills (quoting, CRM, emails, stock lookups) Local to Mossel Bay or surrounding areas preferred Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships Mature, reliable, and able to work independently
