CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead all aspects of the financial function, including financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and compliance Act as a strategic advisor to the Board and executive team, providing insightful financial analysis and risk guidance Oversee financial systems and controls, including the rollout of a new cloud-based ERP system Manage preparation and presentation of financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards Supervise external audit processes and liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies Drive the companys annual budgeting process and ensure effective budgetary control Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team aligned to business objectives Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and key external stakeholders Deliver accurate, real-time management accounts and business performance dashboards Identify cost-saving and profit improvement opportunities across the business Support operational teams with data-driven insights to guide decision-making REQUIREMENTS: Chartered Accountant (SA) qualification is essential Minimum 10 years experience in a senior financial management or executive role Sector experience in agriculture, FMCG, or food production is highly preferred Demonstrated success in financial leadership within a complex, operationally intensive environment Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) and Jet Reports (advantageous) Proven track record of managing teams, delivering strategic initiatives, and driving operational efficiencies COMPETENCIES: Strategic financial leadership and business acumen Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organisation High integrity and ethical standards Hands-on, solutions-driven leadership approach with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels Change management capability, particularly in systems and process improvement TO APPLY: If your background matches the requirements and you would like to apply or receive more information, please: click on the "Apply" button or
