Level 1 End User Support Technician

Nesco Resource is seeking a Level 1 End User Support Technician in the greater Hempstead, NY area. In this delivery engagement you will be given the opportunity to grow your technical skill set and client delivery skills while operating onsite within the IT Service Delivery Program. Responsibilities : - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and peripherals - Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows) and software applications - Manage network connectivity, including TCP/IP, VPN, and wireless connections - Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely resolution to user issues - Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems - Follow established procedures for documenting and tracking support requests in ticketing system - Communicate effectively with end-users to provide clear instructions and guidance Requirements: - Knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10 and 11) and macOS - Experience providing desktop support in a corporate environment - Troubleshooting hardware and software issues - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills - Jamf experience Note: Additional certifications such as CompTIA A, Network, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus.
