Credit Specialist Germany & Austria

We are looking for a Credit Specialist to join our Credit Team, reporting to the Credit Control Manager, with responsibility for the German and Austrian markets. In this role, you will support both the Accounting and Sales teams in managing customer accounts and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships. Main activities & accountabilities: Collaborate with the Sales Force in defining the customer-specific business model and evaluating its related accounting impact Ensure that the SAP/ERP system configuration and related accounting model are fully aligned with the customer's contractual terms and business practices. Verify customer information on the relevant platforms Extract financial data from the management system (e.g. customer account statements, invoice/credit note copies) Manage direct contact with German/Austrian customers to clarify the status of the payment with respect of the business model. Monitor incoming payments and reconciliation with invoice or discount agreement and assist with account clarification. Provide regular reports and Analysis to the CFO and the Sales Force on the payment status of overdue invoices Update customer financial status in the management system (e.g. placing or removing blocks on the customer’s business profile) Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in economics or a comparable qualification. At least 3 years of professional experience in accounts receivable or customer service Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Knowledge of SAP 4/HANA will be considered a plus) Result and solution oriented We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
