QNX Technical Lead - Embedded System

Job Role : QNX Technical Lead Experience : 7 to 8 Years Location : Bangalore We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Engineer / Technical Lead QNX Platform to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in QNX platform development, Hypervisor integration, memory management, and system-level debugging. You will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and maintaining embedded software systems for advanced applications across automotive and industrial domains. Responsibilities : - Lead the development, integration, and optimization of the QNX platform, including Board Support Packages (BSPs) and Hypervisors. - Develop and enhance peripheral and system drivers such as USB, Storage, PMIC, Clock, Diag, and system buses. - Work on system-level features including boot-time optimization, early service bring-up (e.g., RVC, Audio), and thermal/power management. - Diagnose and resolve system crashes, improve platform stability, and drive performance enhancements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, validation, and software to ensure smooth bring-up and deployment of embedded systems. - Contribute to technical reviews, system architecture planning, and documentation. Required Skills and Experience : - 78 years of experience in embedded systems development with a focus on the QNX platform. - In-depth understanding of memory management, system-level architecture, and Hypervisor environments. - Strong hands-on experience with embedded C/C++ and debugging tools for low-level system analysis. - Experience in developing drivers and working with peripheral components like USB, PMIC, clocks, buses, and storage. - Expertise in crash diagnostics, system log analysis, and system performance optimization. - Proven experience in power and thermal management within embedded systems. - Knowledge of system bring-up processes including bootloader and early service initialization. Preferred Qualifications : - Exposure to automotive or industrial embedded environments. - Familiarity with secure boot, trusted execution environments (TEE), and safety-critical systems. - Understanding of hardware interfaces and protocols such as PCIe, SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN. - Experience with multi-core processing systems and virtualization technologies.
