Embedded Display Lead

Job Role : Embedded Display Lead Experience : 7 Years Location : Bangalore Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Embedded Display Lead to join our team, specializing in display and graphics solutions within Embedded Android/Linux systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MIPI DSI, DisplayPort (DP 1.4/2.1), DRM APIs, SurfaceFlinger, Hardware Composer, and Graphics Drivers. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing display pipelines, implementing secure display solutions, and troubleshooting CTS/VTS compliance issues while working on cutting-edge technologies for embedded systems. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the development and optimization of display and graphics solutions in Embedded Android/Linux systems. - Work with Display Technologies such as MIPI DSI, DisplayPort (DP 1.4/2.1), and Vsync, ensuring efficient integration and performance. - Implement and enhance DRM APIs, SurfaceFlinger, Hardware Composer, and Gralloc within the Android display architecture. - Troubleshoot and resolve CTS/VTS compliance issues, ensuring robust system stability and functionality. - Drive the implementation of secure display technologies and HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) for embedded platforms. - Optimize and integrate OpenWFD Standard, IPC, Sockets, and Client/Server SW Architectures for display subsystems. - Develop and enhance Graphics Drivers, including OpenCL 2.0/3.0, GLES 4.X, and Vulkan (VK1.1/VK1.3), ensuring seamless rendering and system performance. - Work on optimizing Android BufferQueues, DRM Leasing, and overall system performance using tools like Systrace. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and product management teams, to ensure successful delivery of high-performance display solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Expertise in MIPI DSI, DisplayPort (DP 1.4/2.1), DRM APIs, SurfaceFlinger, and Hardware Composer. - Strong experience in developing and optimizing Graphics Drivers, including OpenCL, GLES, and Vulkan. - Proficient in implementing secure display technologies, including HDCP. - Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, particularly with CTS/VTS, DRM Leasing, and BufferQueues. - Proficiency in C, C++, and Linux kernel development with a strong understanding of embedded system architecture. - Experience working on real-time rendering and optimizing display pipelines for enhanced performance. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience in Automotive, Consumer Electronics, or IoT Display Solutions. - Familiarity with real-time rendering techniques and advanced display optimization. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for graphics and display testing. - Strong team collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to lead complex projects and mentor junior engineers.
