Python Automation Engineer - Software Quality Assurance

Job Role : Python Automation QA 5-12 years Location : Noida/ Gurgaon We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Automation QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Noida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Python, Pytest, and Cucumber. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage and execute end-to-end testing frameworks for both web and mobile applications. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks using Python, Pytest, and Cucumber. - Manage and execute comprehensive testing frameworks for web and mobile applications. - Act as an Xray expert, ensuring seamless integration of Xray with JIRA for efficient test case management and reporting. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid release cycles and continuous delivery. - Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, working closely with development teams to resolve issues promptly. - Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of automation tests on improving product quality. - Train and mentor team members on automation best practices and tools. - Effectively communicate with US-based clients to convey test strategies, results, and Skills: - Python - Pytest - Xray Skills Required : - Proficiency in Python for automation testing. - Hands-on experience with Cucumber for Behavior Driven Development (BDD). - Expertise in designing and maintaining automation frameworks, including the creation, execution, analysis, and reporting of automated tests. - Experience in integrating Xray with JIRA. - Experience in integrating automated suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar. - Expertise in executing Scrum ceremonies and processes. Preferred Qualifications : - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. - Experience with other automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
