Senior Design Verification Engineer

Job Summary : LeadSoc Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Verification Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. As a Senior Design Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for the verification of complex digital designs, ensuring their functionality, performance, and reliability. You will play a key role in developing and executing verification strategies, creating test plans, building test benches, and debugging issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UVM methodology, SystemVerilog, and AMBA protocols, with a proven track record of verifying complex : Verification Planning and Strategy : - Develop comprehensive verification plans and strategies for complex IP/Blocks/Subsystems. - Define verification scope, objectives, and methodologies in alignment with project goals. - Identify and analyze design specifications to determine verification requirements. Testbench Development : - Design and implement advanced test benches using SystemVerilog and UVM methodology. - Develop reusable verification components, including drivers, monitors, and scoreboards. - Create constrained-random test cases to achieve thorough coverage. AMBA Protocol Expertise : - Demonstrate deep understanding and hands-on experience with AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB). - Verify compliance of designs with AMBA specifications. - Develop verification components and test cases specific to AMBA interfaces. RTL Verification and Debug : - Perform RTL verification using simulation tools. - Debug complex design issues and identify root causes. - Analyze simulation results and provide detailed reports. Verification Techniques : Implement and utilize various verification techniques, including : - Scoreboarding : Develop and utilize scoreboards to compare expected and actual results. - Assertions : Write SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) to capture design intent and ensure correctness. - Functional Coverage : Define and measure functional coverage to assess verification completeness. - Code Coverage : Analyze code coverage metrics to identify areas of the design that have not been adequately tested. System Verilog and Verilog Proficiency : - Demonstrate solid command of SystemVerilog and Verilog HDL. - Utilize advanced SystemVerilog features for testbench development and verification. Modular Verification : - Have proven experience working on modular, subsystem, or IP-level verification. - Integrate and verify complex modules within a larger system. - Ensure proper interaction and functionality of interconnected components. Collaboration and Communication : - Collaborate effectively with design engineers, architects, and other verification team members. - Communicate verification progress, issues, and results clearly and concisely. - Participate in technical reviews and provide constructive feedback. Qualifications and Skills : Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Experience : 5 years of experience in ASIC design verification. Core Skills : - Strong expertise in UVM methodology and SystemVerilog. - Deep knowledge of AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB). - Proficiency in test bench development and verification planning. - Experience with RTL debugging and simulation tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics). - Solid understanding of scoreboarding, assertions (SVA), functional coverage, and code coverage. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills : - Experience with industry-standard verification tools and methodologies. - Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python, TCL). - Experience with low power verification. - Familiarity with formal verification techniques. - Experience in verifying complex SoCs.
