Versa Networks - Senior Solution Architect - Backend Technologies

Key Responsibilities : - Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions that align with business requirements and architectural standards. - Collaborate with product managers to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications and high-level designs. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices. - Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns to build optimal solutions. - Create and maintain architectural diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment. - Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges. - Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of developed solutions. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on architectural and design choices. - Mentor and guide junior engineers on architectural and design principles. - Research and evaluate new technologies and approaches to continuously improve our systems and processes. - Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5-10 years of progressive experience in software development, with a significant portion focused on solution design and architecture. - Strong understanding of software architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven, monolithic). - Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable and distributed systems. - Deep understanding of at least one major programming language and its ecosystem (e.g., Java, Python, C#, Node.js). - Experience with database design and different database technologies (relational and NoSQL). - Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their architectural best practices. - Experience with API design and development (RESTful, GraphQL). - Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in software architecture. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions.
