Join us in accelerating positive global impact. Spain Team The Spain Team, established in 2024 and based in Barcelona (Sarria-Sant Gervasi), is a growing, dynamic unit. You will join a highly qualified team, including our Country Manager and an Innovation Consultant, working closely with colleagues in the Netherlands to drive global impact. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new and expanding division, with plans to establish a dedicated Spain consultancy team by the end of 2025. MANAGING CONSULTANT We are seeking applicants with fluency in both Spanish & English and proven team leadership experience. As a Managing Consultant, you will lead and develop a team of approximately 6 innovation consultants, acting as a role model and enhancing organizational performance. You will play a critical role in expanding Catalyze’s market presence in Spain, collaborating closely with our Country Manager. You will leverage your expertise to identify key challenges in clients’ innovation development and define projects to address them, helping clients overcome obstacles and create impact. Your strong network in the field and experience in securing grants and managing large projects will be vital. You will also oversee team performance, ensure quality standards, and contribute to strategic initiatives. Responsibilities Team Leadership: Provide guidance to foster team cohesion and address escalations to maintain a positive work environment. Performance Management: Oversee team results, monitor performance and financial outcomes, and implement productivity strategies. Planning and Resource Allocation: Strategically assign projects to optimize team output. Personal Development: Support team members’ growth, fostering continuous learning and motivation. Quality Assurance: Ensure project quality and oversee administrative processes. Strategic Contribution: Align activities with Catalyze’s mission and improve organizational performance. Client Support: Lead client projects and contribute directly to project success. Business Development: Build and maintain client networks, identify opportunities, and collaborate to enhance market presence in Spain. Required qualifications include proven leadership, passion for innovation, a relevant Master’s degree, extensive experience in grant writing and project management, strong understanding of Spanish funding programs, and excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English. Candidates should be willing to travel to Barcelona once a month if based elsewhere.
