Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems. Stay updated on emerging data engineering trends and advocate for new tools. Troubleshoot and resolve data issues efficiently. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality. Drive technology initiatives, including design, POCs, and R&D. Streamline project processes for best data engineering practices. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding technical solutions. Requirements Proven expertise in Spark (Scala or PySpark). Strong background in data architecture, modeling, and ETL pipelines using Databricks. Experience across SDLC phases and technical leadership in complex projects. Proficiency in cloud-native technologies, containerization, and software engineering best practices. Experience with major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP. Interest in modernizing legacy systems. Ability to present and advocate technical solutions to stakeholders. Independent problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity. Client-facing experience and proactive approach. Fluent English skills (B2 level).
