"MedCadre Inc is a Joint Commission Certified". Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled RN-Operating Room to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and procedures, providing accurate results crucial for patient diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities Assess patient condition, verify surgical consent, and prepare patients physically and emotionally for surgery. Support the surgical team by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating the surgeon’s needs. Observe vital signs, anesthesia levels, and overall patient safety throughout the procedure. Follow strict aseptic techniques and infection control procedures to ensure a sterile surgical field. Assist in transferring patients to recovery, monitor their immediate condition, and accurately document all care provided. Qualifications Must hold an active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the practicing state. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN is often preferred. Prior experience in perioperative nursing or completion of a perioperative training program. Certification such as CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) is a plus. Proficient in sterile technique, surgical procedures, and the use of operating room equipment. Must be able to effectively coordinate with surgical teams, respond in high-pressure situations, and communicate clearly with patients and staff. Required: Minimum 1 years experience - required.
