Certified Occupational Therapist Peoria, AZ 85345 $50.00 Per Hour Under the supervision and direction of both Campus and Charter Leadership, the Occupational Therapist; responsibilities include: ● Assessment and implementation of student's occupational therapy needs ● All record-keeping related to each student assigned to the therapist ● Supervision of COTA staff ● Engage in data-driven instruction ● Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies Duties: ● Assess students to identify eligibility and IEP needs ● Supervise, mentor, and support COTA; train COTAs and classroom staff to implement goals identified on student IEPs related to: ■ fine motor skills ■ life skills/training ■ psychosocial adaptations ■ sensory processing/adaptations ■ visual motor skills ● Follow school-wide systems, rules, and positive behavior interventions ● Support the delivery of services in a classroom integration model ● Communicate effectively and proactively with students and families ● Responsible for paperwork compliance with data collections relating to IEP goals and Student Digital Portfolios ● Maintain timely and accurate Medicaid Billing ● Accountability for growth and proficiency in IEP goals ● Participate in annual and ongoing staff training ● Write OT goals and progress monitoring data for students' IEPs ● Attend IEP/MET meetings for students with OT services
