Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for a "Pharmacist-Inpatient” position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in Paramus, NJ 07652. Job Description: Job Title: Pharmacist-Inpatient Location: Paramus, NJ 07652 Schedule: (8x5) Shift: Days Pay Range: $3000 - $3400 Gross Weekly Position Summary: Overview: Job Description: We are seeking experienced Inpatient Pharmacists to join our healthcare team in a hospital setting in New Jersey. The ideal candidates will possess strong clinical knowledge, a deep commitment to patient care, and experience working in an inpatient pharmacy environment. Key Responsibilities: · Provide pharmaceutical care and services to inpatient patients, including medication therapy management and drug information support. · Conduct medication reconciliations for patients, ensuring accuracy and safety in the medication process. · Prepare and dispense medications according to physician orders in compliance with state and federal laws. · Monitor and review drug therapy for efficacy, safety, and potential interactions, making recommendations to healthcare teams as necessary. · Ensure compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines in the IV room, including preparation of sterile compounded medications. · Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care, including medication management and therapy adjustments. · Educate patients and healthcare team members on the safe and effective use of medications. · Provide support in the management of chemotherapy medications, including preparation, dispensation, and patient counseling. · Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medications and treatment plans. Qualifications: · New Jersey State Pharmacist License required and in good standing. · BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. · Chemo and IV Certification required. · Must have experience in USP 797/800 IV room practices for sterile compounding and safety. · Proven experience in medication reconciliation and inpatient pharmacy settings. · Must be a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) .
