SEND Teacher

A rewarding opportunity for a primary-trained teacher to support secondary age students in a specialist provision where your care, creativity and flexibility will help shape futures. Our client school is seeking a skilled and adaptable teacher with a primary background to join their committed team. You will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of subjects, supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a therapeutic setting. About the school: The school are a specialist SEMH school for boys aged 11 to 16, where every student has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Their approach is built on relationships, consistency and care. They use therapeutic models such as PACE and ATAS to help students succeed. Staff work in close teams, and they take pride in our calm environment, high expectations and reflective practice. About the role: You will teach a broad and balanced curriculum, adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs of students who may be working below age-related expectations. You will build strong, positive relationships, create purposeful learning environments and play a key role in supporting progress across the curriculum. This is a rewarding and varied teaching role, ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible, student-centred environment and wants to make a genuine difference. What we are looking for: We are especially keen to hear from primary-trained teachers who can deliver across subjects and adapt their teaching to meet individual needs. SEN experience is valued, but a strong interest in inclusive education and a willingness to learn are just as important.
