Role Description: • Lead end-to-end solution architecture design for transforming monolithic Java/Oracle applications into microservices. • Analyze existing legacy systems to identify modernization opportunities and define target state architectures. • Define and document architecture blueprints, technology stack, design patterns, and integration strategies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders. • Select appropriate tools, platforms, and cloud services to support the transformation. • Drive cloud adoption strategies including containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), API gateways, and CI/CD pipelines. • Ensure security, scalability, and performance best practices are applied to all solutions. • Mentor development teams and provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle. Required Skill Set: • Good years of experience in Java-based enterprise application development and architecture. • Strong background in Oracle databases (PL/SQL, performance tuning, schema design). • Good years of experience in designing and implementing microservices using frameworks like Spring Boot, • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Proficiency in RESTful API design, messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and API management. • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Helm. • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Desired Skill Set: • Experience in re-platforming or refactoring legacy systems. • Familiarity with domain-driven design and event-driven architecture. • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently and as a technical leader in cross-functional teams. • Strong attention to detail and a passion for clean, reliable data.
