Job Description

MISSION: Drive the organization’s growth and success by identifying commercial opportunities and creating partnerships. As a Business Development Director , you will need to have the ability to achieve sales and closing targets, being responsible for these results and demonstrating a high level of commitment to their achievement. FUNCTIONS: Lead Generation: Identifying and qualifying potential leads and prospects through various channels, including cold outreach, networking events, and funded projects consortia. Client Engagement: Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and presenting the company’s solutions compellingly. Sales Presentations: Delivering persuasive sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase the organization’s products/services and how they address potential clients’ pain points. Negotiation and Deal Closing: Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure deals and close sales successfully. Account Management: Managing client accounts post-deal, ensuring satisfaction, addressing concerns, and exploring additional opportunities. Partnerships and Collaborations: Identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with industry players, research institutions, or complementary technology providers to enhance the company’s offerings and market presence. Sales Strategy Development: Collaborating with management to develop effective sales strategies, set targets, and devise plans to achieve revenue goals. Reporting and Analytics: Tracking and analyzing sales performance metrics in the CRM to measure progress and identify areas for improvement. Market Research and Intelligence: Collaborating with the Product department, providing customer feedback, and staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial) or a related technical field. Over 15 years of experience in a technical international sales environment in the industrial sector , with expertise in the energy sector , specializing in industrial gases and hydrogen solutions. Over 5 years of experience managing sales teams and achieving growth in commercial goals . Excellent communication, negotiation, reporting, and relationship-building skills. Experience in Deep Tech Start-ups will be considered an added value. Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time, covering Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the USA. J-18808-Ljbffr
