Legal Counsel - Renewables - Real Assets - Madrid

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in shaping and implementing acquisition strategies for large-scale real asset projects? I’m seeking a Legal Project Structuring Manager to join a leading investment and asset development company focused on sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy. Key Responsibilities: Structure and implement acquisition strategies for renewables and real estate projects (residential and commercial). Advise on the legal structuring of projects, including ownership models, joint ventures, Special Purpose Vehicles, and financing arrangements. Develop and implement funds and tailored solutions for institutional investors, considering tax regulations and legal frameworks. Optimize asset financial models with a focus on structuring topics. Collaborate with investment managers, tax, legal, and finance teams, as well as external stakeholders. Conduct market and competitor analysis across real asset classes and investor groups. Report directly to the Team Head of Asset Structuring. The Person: Degree in economics, law, or similar; qualification as a tax adviser is a plus. Minimum 5 years’ experience in fund management, banking, legal, or consultancy. Strong knowledge of tax and/or investment law. At least 3 years experience in the renewable energy sector. Strong background in project finance, corporate law, and contract management. Experience with renewable energy, infrastructure, or large-scale industrial projects. Expertise in risk assessment, legal compliance, and regulatory frameworks. Ability to negotiate complex contracts and coordinate with external legal counsel. Why Join?
