EMEA Sales Director, ISV Embedded Solutions Join us to apply for the role of EMEA Sales Director, ISV Embedded Solutions at Canonical. We are hiring a Sales Director, ISV Embedded Solutions, for multiple locations to drive partnerships for licensing and embedding Ubuntu and Ubuntu Pro into software and SaaS solutions. Canonical supports ISV customers and alliances in building on Ubuntu and Ubuntu Pro, enabling them to deliver fast, reliable, secure, and compliant solutions. We offer an extensive open source software base, SLA support, FIPS-certified cryptography, and security standards meeting HIPAA and FedRAMP. Ubuntu is the top-rated OS for developers, partnering with major cloud providers and hardware vendors to optimize Ubuntu across multi-cloud environments and hardware platforms. Leading AI brands leverage Ubuntu Pro to focus on product development rather than maintenance or compliance. Location : Multiple openings in the Americas and EMEA time zones. The role entails : Driving embedded support and licensing sales with ISVs to exceed targets. Managing customer and partner relationships throughout the sales and support lifecycle. Deepening engagement within the open source ecosystem. Developing strategic partnerships aligned with Canonical's goals. Collaborating with product management to enhance platform fit for ISVs. Negotiating contracts with ISV partners and clients. Shaping content and messaging for ISV audiences. What we are looking for in you : Strong academic background from high school and university. Degree in a technical field or a compelling alternative narrative. Ability to build strategic relationships at all organizational levels. Passion for technology, with experience in software, SaaS, Linux (Debian or Ubuntu), open source, cloud, and containers. Experience in lead generation and business development in software. Excellent interpersonal, curiosity, adaptability, and accountability skills. Exceptional business English writing and presentation skills. Proven track record of exceeding commitments and delivering results. Leadership, mentorship, and skills development commitment. Appreciation for diversity and multicultural effectiveness.
