Job Description
Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 3 for Panera located within Promedica Toledo Hospital in Toledo, Ohio . We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to oversee and lead a team of up to 15 employees in a fast-paced retail environment. This role is responsible for managing employee scheduling, inventory control, training, and ensuring the smooth operation of the retail floor. The successful candidate will manage a retail volume of $2 million, driving performance and maintaining high standards of customer service. Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Employees at our healthcare sites play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience and well-being. What You'll Do Oversee daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product. Achieve company and financial targets, including oversight of food costs and labor costs. Develop and maintain customer relationships. Motivate, coach, mentor, and develop 20 frontline (hourly) staff members and 5 supervisors. Ensure Sodexo/Panera standards are met, including compliance with food and physical safety programs. What You Bring Proven leadership skills with a strong work history demonstrating employee engagement and supervisory experience. Culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance. Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for high-level customer service. Ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed. Working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC), proficiency in computer skills, and report management experience (not applicable to external candidates).
