2D CAD Engineer/Estimator Dudley £30,000 per annum Permanent – Onsite 39.5 hours We are currently seeking a 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator to join our local client’s team based in Dudley, West Midlands. This long-standing company are looking for a 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator to work in their busy and expanding office. What’s in it for you? Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm Friday 8am – 4:30pm – 1 hour lunch breaks 20 days Bank Holidays (Increases with service) Pension Scheme Free off-road parking The roles and responsibilities of a 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator: Producing quotes for customers using Lantek software Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and producing profile drawings using an AutoCAD 2d type software package. Speaking to customers via email and phone Liaising with other departments internally to resolve any problems. A basic understanding of material types such as but not limited to: Mild steel, stainless steel (S275, S355, CR4, 304, 316 etc.) Requirements of the 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator: Previous experience from an Engineering background and/or working with Lantek software would be an advantage Able to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and within a team.
