Job Title: Frontend Developer Location: Manchester / Hybrid - You must be able to work on site in Manchester (Free parking) Contract Length: 6 months Day Rate: £400 - 450 per day Industry: Global eCommerce About the Role I am seeking a Frontend Developer to join a global eCommerce company. As Frontend Developer, you will play a key role in building scalable frontend systems that support millions of users worldwide, driving performance, reliability, and maintainability. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that directly impacts customer experience. An ideal candidate will have experience in many of the following : Strong experience with vanilla JavaScript (ES6) with a good understanding of the fundamentals with some framework familiarity in either React, Vue, Svelte, Astro, Angular, etc. Strong and up-to-date experience with HTML and CSS. Good understanding of optimising NFRs (SEO, A11Y and Performance). Comfort with working with APIs (REST or GraphQL). Good understanding of automation tooling like Cypress, Jest, etc. Comfort working outside of their core skill set. The following exposure is welcomed but not required: Experience with Tailwind or similar is welcomed but not required. Server-side Rendering (SSR) exposure. Awareness of HTTP fundamentals (Caching, Compression, Methods, Access Control, etc)
