Company description: Rina Job description: What You'll Do Design & Simulation: Lead the design of earthing systems and perform lightning protection risk assessments (BSEN 62305 & BSEB 62305). Site Visits: Conduct testing and inspection of protection systems at substations, power stations, and renewable energy sites. Client Engagement: Manage key client relationships, resolve queries, and communicate technical outputs clearly. Report Writing: Deliver detailed technical reports and review junior team members outputs. Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior engineers and graduates to foster team growth and knowledge sharing. What We're Looking For Qualifications Essential: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Desirable: Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Experience Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in earthing & lightning protection design, assessments, and field testing. Skills & Attributes Proficiency in CDEGS, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Strong understanding of UK standards for electrical infrastructure. Willingness to travel extensively and work onsite (24 nights away/week). Demonstrated ability to support and develop junior team members. Collaborative, inquisitive, respectful, and highly accurate in technical work.
