Job Title : ServiceNow Developer (ITSM & ITBM) Experience : 45 Years Location : Hyderabad Employment Type : Full-Time About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer with hands-on experience in ITSM and ITBM modules to join our growing team. This role requires a strong technical background, a passion for quality, and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and evolving environment. You will be responsible for the design, development, customization, and implementation of solutions within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business needs and ITIL best practices. Key Responsibilities : Strategic : - Deliver high-quality work in alignment with project goals and timelines. - Collaborate effectively with remote teams and communicate complex technical topics clearly. - Maintain alignment with industry and ServiceNow platform best practices. - Demonstrate innovation and strive for continual improvement in processes and solutions. Operational : - Develop and configure ServiceNow applications including ITSM, ITBM, and custom apps. - Work on server-side scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, ACLs) and client-side scripting (UI Policies, Client Scripts). - Customize ServiceNow using UI Builder, Workspaces, and Service Portal. - Perform complex workflow configuration and data transformation using Scripted REST APIs, Transform Maps, and IntegrationHub. - Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP web services. - Maintain version upgrades, patching, and customizations in compliance with ServiceNow best practices. - Lead solutioning, prototyping, and demo sessions with internal stakeholders or clients. - Support delivery teams during project transitions and discovery phases. - Provide technical mentorship and support to junior developers and other teams. - Act as a bridge between clients and development teams during implementation. - Develop training material and conduct training sessions for end users and IT staff. Technical Skills & Experience Required : - 24 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience. - Expertise in ITSM and ITBM modules, including deep functional knowledge. - Experience with UI Builder, Workspace Configuration, and Service Portal Widgets. - Hands-on scripting experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, REST, and SOAP. - Experience in workflow design, business rules, UI actions, client/server scripting, and custom tables/reports. - Knowledge of Domain Separation, ServiceNow Orchestration, SPM, HRSD, and Event Management (preferred). - Familiarity with ITOM tools like Discovery and CMDB configuration. - Deep understanding of ITIL processes and the ability to align solutions to business objectives. - Strong experience in integration and migration with third-party systems. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum or SAFe : - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Required - ServiceNow Implementation Specialist or Certified Application Developer (CAD) Preferred (ref:hirist.tech)
